Synopsis: Today, the effort for understanding and to respect the visions of multiple communities in Peru, go towards reporting the topic of education. The approximation between the Andean - Amazonian community and its rural schools, is a fundamental process in which teacher and communities seek to change attitudes, to convert the school in a place in which the children learn in a nice way how to be in both worlds, the proper one and the western modern one, without eroding their cultural identity.

Synopsis: In the Central Andes of Peru, some communities celebrate weddings with a ceremony that blends Catholic rites with ancient practices of "Andean reciprocity" such as the "Palpa". As they dance, the members of the community give vibrant, energetic cries called "guapidos" that express fervor, joy, challenge, ecstasy and the energy and strength of their life and culture. This coexistence of these Western and Andean rituals is one of the few living expressions of mestizaje and cultural syncretism that persist in the Peruvian Andes.

Synopsis: ¨This corn is our Mother and we go down here from the mount to lead to our communities that stay in height. To make this corn to reach us nicely we call its soul. From bamboo, we do our instruments partying with the animals and cultives.¨, Mariano Quispe Choque of Pitumarca, Cusco's valley tells us. This video shows how the commoners of Pitumarca's valley remembered an ancient way of trade. This path was surrounded by their grandfathers before on foot and with flames and now after several years they went to exchange their cultives, meats, wools and rituals with the communities of Paucartambo's valley.
