Synopsis: Two women: one born in Lleida, the other one in Ruanda, one alive, the other one dead. A mineral today indispensable. And a pioneering decision of the National Audience. ' Out of Coverage ' is developed on these three axes. In 1997, Flors Sirera was murdered. Her death, in the middle of a major humanitarian tragedy, encloses a history scarcely known: the relation between a mineral present in all computer and mobile telephones, the coltan, and the death of million of people. Flors Sirera and other eight Spaniards are among them. . Flors knew nothing about this mineral, currently irreplaceable for the 'Information Society', when she came to Rwanda in 1994 as a development worker for ' World Doctors'. Beatrice Umutesi knew also nothing about it when she began to cross by foot two thousand kilometres surrounded with death and horror in the middle of the exodus. These two women never knew each other. Nevertheless, their lives are tied.
